I learned my profession where mistakes are not an option: in the intensive care units and anaesthesia departments of Germany's major hospitals. For more than twenty years I cared for people in the most critical moments of their lives — and learned to recognise a situation early, before it becomes serious.
Later I took on responsibility: as a director of nursing, as a leader, as an entrepreneur in healthcare. I know the system from the inside — the hospitals, the processes, the right people to call.
